About me

Hello! I'm Sarah, a mother of two, a military spouse constantly on the go, and a dedicated pelvic floor fitness trainer. I currently call Fort Drum, NY, home. Before embarking on my journey into motherhood, I was a professional ballet dancer and an enthusiastic fitness instructor. After facing a traumatic birth that resulted in a painful vaginal fistula and prolapse, which necessitated surgery and extensive pelvic floor physical therapy, I founded Core Vitality Fitness, LLC. This small business emerged from a blend of pain, perseverance, and passion. Eager to broaden my knowledge and assist others in their healing journeys, I obtained my Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist certification and am presently working towards my Pilates Reform certification to introduce a new machine aimed at total body restoration. I’ve chronicled my entire healing journey on my blog. (Full story) The year 2021 demanded immense patience and internal recovery. Within five months, I underwent two significant surgeries on my core and pelvic floor. By integrating the rehabilitation strategies from the Postpartum Reconnect Online Course, I achieved successful healing. There is a substantial gap in women's health, but through this company, I aim to bridge that gap and offer support to as many women as possible. Now, as of 2025, I am in the process of rehabilitating my body from a C-section and prolapse following the birth of my second child.


My passion for teaching and inspiring clients has seamlessly aligned with my journey into motherhood. I am thrilled to embark on this adventure with you during pregnancy, the early postpartum phase, and beyond.


Women are incredibly resilient, and we deserve access to the best resources to empower and nurture our bodies.


Credentials: I hold a BA from Point Park University and am a Certified Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, with over 10 years of experience teaching group exercise, fitness, and dance globally. My group fitness instructor certificates include Pilates, Pure Barre, TABATA HIIT, ZUMBA, Silver n Fit, and Bodiography Fitness & Strength. Additionally, I have completed the Pelvic Pro course by Dr. Sarah Duval PT, DPT, CPT, CNC.


I am also committed to furthering my education and am currently pursuing the following certifications: Women’s Fertility Certificate Program from IWHI and Polestar Pilates Reform certification.

“Before finding Sarah, I was struggling with such bad sciatic nerve pain I couldn't even get out of bed without crying to walk the five feet to the bathroom.


My OBGYN wouldn't listen to me, and the physical therapist I was referred to didn't help. They just kept telling me it was a "normal" part of pregnancy.


 My poor two year old at the time, was trying his best to help me with anything he could. All I could manage (when I was able to move) was grab and go snacks that he could easily bring to me to open for him, since I couldn't move.


Now after Sarah's work, I'm able to relieve my pain and keep up with my son! We are able to go to soccer, take walks, and the playground. She even helped me so my OBGYN would allow me to attempt a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC). Her techniques have helped me get my hips into the best placement, to reduce pain and get the space I needed to give me the best chance of a successful vaginal birth.
